Practice

Edinburgh-based printmaker working under the imprint Veloset Press. He produces handmade works on paper in small editions using a vintage Farley proofing press, large spindle rollers, soft Japanese brayers, and paper stencils. Work is inspired by modernist architecture, folk art, and traditional sign painting. Processes are intuitive and spontaneous, producing composite prints. He also produces letterpress work using a large collection of Victorian wood type.
